whois piranhalink.net

Real BGP shouldn't require a permission slip.

We're the network engineers who got tired of watching people who understood BGP better than most ISPs get told no — no ASN, no RIR membership, no cross-connect, no transit. So we built the thing we wished existed: leased IP space, a real Autonomous System behind it, and a WireGuard tunnel standing in for the fiber handoff.

How PiranhaLink came online

[INFO]

Watched engineers with real routing skills get turned away for not having an ASN or an RIR membership.

[BGP]

Started leasing IP space and running BGP sessions from our own infrastructure so nobody else has to register their own.

[WG0]

Replaced the fiber cross-connect with a WireGuard tunnel — same routing table, no datacenter required.

[OK]

PiranhaLink came online — real BGP transit, open to anyone who can run a tunnel.

02 — how-we-operate

Built by engineers, run like a network

--operators-first

Every feature ships because an engineer needed it — route filtering, AS prepending, BGP communities. We build the tools we'd reach for ourselves.

--open-access

No ASN. No RIR membership. No minimum commit. If you can run WireGuard, you can run BGP — homelab or production edge.

--for-everyone

Homelabs and enterprises share the same PoPs, the same routing infrastructure, and the same support — no separate "enterprise tier."

--no-surprises

No contracts. Honest best-effort service instead of paper SLAs we can't back. Same pricing for a homelabber and an enterprise.
